It applies to products primarily used or designed for children aged 12 and under. Playground equipment falling under the category of children's play equipment (such as small slides, swings, climbing frames, trampolines, indoor playground equipment, etc.) typically requires a CPC certificate when exported to the United States for sale; otherwise, it may face customs clearance issues, shelf space restrictions, or recall risks.
